This requires a very basic trouble shoot:
As you have not specified a period that the battery goes dead I will speak generally.
You need a way to measure draw. 100 Milli amps is considered normal. (1/10 of an amp)
An ammeter works best but it will need to handle 50 amps or more and accurate to 10 Milli amp.
A test light will work for large fast draws.
Good Luck
there is a short some where in the electrical system... or a bad battery.
how to drai torque converter on 1999 chevy blazer
No, there is no drain plug for the fuel tank.
no
Could be a shorted wire, or bad battery.
on the oil pan...
its in the fuel tank
With a wrench...... :-)
Oil pan.
I ran out of time on Saturday to do it, but it looks like you remove the battery. Then you can reach down and open the drain plug. It is just below the battery at the bottom of the radiator.
its on the left hand side of the radiator but not very easy to get to My apology, it is a 1996 S10 Chevy Blazer instead of a 1999 Chevy Blazer. I need to see a picture or more detail of where the drain plug is located on the left side of the radiator. I have searched and searched and cannot find anything to drain with. Thanks, Linel
To drain the oil on a 1991 Chevy S10 Blazer, located the oil pan drain plug. Use a wrench to remove the plug and the oil will flow into the receptacle you have provided.
