If the Confederacy had won their independence, for at least several years the map of North America would simply display a new eleven state nation. Given the fact that the French were establishing a puppet state in Mexico, most likely a Confederate force would have defeated their intentions in Mexico. If any decent territory could be taken from Northern Mexico, that would have expanded the Confederate borders. There is no doubt that the Union would not let this situation stand. Politically and via economics a new US would have been formed. Industrialization would have ended slavery and a new larger US would have emerged.

If the actual question is "how" - then I would look at the foundations of these systems, comparing the creation of the Apartheid state in South Africa and the events and ideologies that fostered the creation of Jim Crow in the United States. Then I would compare the actual implementation of these practices... how Apartheid was enforced in South Africa and how Jim Crow was enforced in the south. Then I would look at how these systems were accepted by the populations and what led to their respective downfails/failures...
It could look like that, because of its bigger population and industrial advantages. But there were many moments when the South looked like winning, especially when it came to the General Election of 1864, which Lincoln privately thought he would lose. If that had happened, the new President McLellan would probably have negotiated a peace that could only have meant Southern independence.
The Confederates wanted help from Britain, but Britain did not help the Confederates due to the fact that if they would of been supporting the South, it would of made them look like they supported slavery. They also didn't want to go against the North, which they would of done if they would of supported the South.
Manchuria was a logical target for Japanese expansion because Japan was running the South Manchurian railway at the time of the incident. It was also within close range, and would make it easier for the Japanese to get their resources onto the mainland. Another good reason is that China at the time was in a state of civil war, so after bombing the South Manchurian railway, they could easily make it look like communist China's fault and go in looking like they were helping the Chinese.
I honestly think it would because the north and south were fighting for what they thought was right! Why punish the south after they have already lost the war and had to give up slavery!
it would sorta look like a crescent with the part that bends facing north and the 2 points facing south
The British, or more generally any foreign aid from countries which imported Southern cotton. Southern hope for support from the British ended when President Lincoln introduced the Emancipation Proclamation, since aiding the pro-slavery South would make the British look like hypocrites. (They had banned slavery earlier in the Century)

this is what the South Africa flag looks like
Carpetbaggers. Cheap land - and cheap wages. It made them look like mean and unpleasant people.
Inca shelters were made of stone and adobe, with thatched roofs. They were typically rectangular in shape and often featured simple designs. The Inca also built elaborate structures such as temples and palaces using finely cut stones fitted together without mortar.
The North was almost untouched by the war in comparison to the South. The South had major problems like the economy. Because when the Union and the Confederacy split, the Confederacy made up their own money system. The South laid in ruins.
We would write either "How did it look?" or "What did it look like?"
They did not win we lost it buy a lot something like 600000 dead on both sides north and south so Americans lost no matter how you look at it
Because after Lincoln turned it into a war on slavery (by issuing the Emancipation Proclamation), it would have made them look pro-slavery themselves.
