Most of the time it makes that sound because of bad gas! Put some gas treatment in the gas tank and also some oil treatment wouldn't hurt it either!
brakes are need to be replace
Check for looseness in the front axle u-joints.
Could be bad bushings on shocks or strut mounts, or broken shock, strut or sway bar. On a larger vehicle like a truck or older car it could be a broken leaf spring or coil. If I had to guess that's where I would start looking.
A clunking noise, when you put your car into gear, is most likely caused by a bad u-joint. A problem in the transmission can also cause the noise.
A car that is in good running condition should not make a clunking noise. If a person pushes the gas and brake pedal at the same time causing a car to make a clunking noise, that is an indication of stain on the motor.
It sounds like a bad universal joint to me. The same thing happened to me last summer but its an easy fix...less than $200. (8D
Could be many things, ball joints usually make clunking noises (usually one when turning and one when turning the wheel from turning), cv joints usually make a clicking noise and vibrate under load. Have it checked out, les schwab will do it for free (check it).
check the u-joints in the drive shaft first
