2 trannys with same problem?
computer controlled , yes , no power is third gear. is car in neutral or just slipping in 3rd?
If in third, suspect wiring problem
If is in neutral could be fluid or mechanical problem
Warm it up, try a launch test to see if it slips when warm
I had the same problem with a 1992 Park Avenue with the 3800 engine. I first replaced the electronic ignition but that did not fix the problem. I then replaced the crankshaft heat sensor. That fixed my problem.
Like anything mechanical, hard drives will eventual wear out and need to be replaced.
Mac laptops may likely have solid state drives (not hard drives). Those drives are 2.5" form factor and can be replaced by hard drives.

If a Ford Windstar only drives in neutral, it may be due to a blown fuse. It will be best to check the neutral safety switch or brake pedal switch.
Starter is located on the side closest to the radiator, and closest to the transmittion. Transmittion is on the drives side of the car, and radiator is on the front

a sata power connector is normally used for powering sata dvd drives as well as sata hard drives and ssd drives
normally for backup purpouses and boot disks
normally RAM and H drives are on most computers. other just use there flash drives or floppy disks
