We have a 98 and the wire harness from the factory was pulled to tight causing it to break. As it turned out this was a recall idem. Since its been replaced it has been working fine.
If a 1999 Jeep Wrangler dash gauge stops working, check the fuse. The fuse may have blown out and will need replaced.
Look at the fuses behind the glove box.
If the Gauges on your instrument panel have stopped working you may have had a voltage converter stop working. This device mounted to the rear of your instrument panel converts the voltage from your alternator to the voltage that your gauges run off of. You can check the fuses with a multimeter and see if both sides have voltage showing, if so then see about replacing the voltage converter.
Checked owners manual for any obvious fuses. Any recommendations why instrument panel and gauges would guit working?
Take a look at the gauges. At least one of them is out of it's normal parameter.
The gauges on the dash is the instrument cluster.
Pressure gauges.
If your Chevy trailblazer 2004 gauges are not working, check your fuel pump.
The instrument cluster is what houses the speedometer, and the gauges.
Wire strain gauges are an example for a zero order instrument.
