To find the horn relay on a 1987 Ford Ranger, look along the steering column under the dash. Here you will find the speed control amplifier bracket, which is what the horn relay is connected to.
The fuel pump relay for the 1995 ford ranger 2,3 is located under the hood. It is in the power distribution box.
The power control module (PCM) is the brain of the vehicles engine functions. The relay is a module as part of its power supply circuit.
relay is giving power to other relay pump not working
Is the device (relay) that provides power to the Power Control Module, if this fails the car will be unable to start
Low freon charge and faulty CCRM (Constant Control Relay Module).
For a 1999 Ford Ranger , in the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment : Relay # 1 is the ( wiper park relay ) Relay # 3 is the ( wiper Hi / Lo relay )

Two things to be watchful of. There is a power leg and a control leg. The control leg will pull in a set of contacts that pass the fan power. If the power for the fan is on the input but not the output then either the control signal is not present, the input power is not present or the relay is actually bad. Input power you checked and it is there, at least it was infured. The checks for the relay and the control signal will give the same response unless you use a meter to check it. You need to see if the control signal is present with a volt meter. If it is then the relay itself is bad. If not then it could be the wiring or the switch.

The PCM relay is relay # 4 in your power distribution box in the engine compartment , also in the PD BOX in location # 6 is a 10 amp mini-fuse for the powertrain control module and in location # 8 is a 30 amp mini-fuse for the PCM relay . Ford recommends disconnecting your battery before servicing fuses/relays in the PD BOX which means your Ranger has to re-learn its idle etc.
Electrical relay is a switch that opens and closes under the control of another circuit. Relay has the ability to control output circuit of higher power than the input circuit.
