if it is a Ford diesel 7.3 litre, the fuel pump on the top of the engine is most likely leaking. there is a small yellow part on the very back that has a filter in it. this clogs up and causes pump to leak, this can be replaced for 60 bucks,and a little effort without removing pump.if that doesnt fix problem, the pump needs replacing, if you are not mechanical it is a mjor job.the book will tell you u need to remove exhaust and turbo. it is not needed to remove these. also when installing new pump, the first thing to be installed are new O rings on the fuel line where it connects to rear of heads, these O ring do not come with the pump so make sre u buy em when u buy new pump
