Good Day The fan has a resistor mounted in the heater box. This resistor is mounted near the fan in the airflow to keep it cool. When the resistor stops working the fan only works on high speed. So you need to locate the resitor, it is held into the unit by two screws and it will have about three wires connected to it with flat terminals. The resistor looks like a pieco of wire coil between the two terminals hope this is of help It's called a BLOWER RESISTOR, and it's mounted under the dash on the passenger side, look underneath the dash on the passenger side it's a little white box with wires it has 2 screws in it buy a new blower resistor unscrew the old one and put the new one in plug the wires in, screw it back in and your done....
It keeps you from shifting out of park without first putting on the brake.
I know the first part is to turn the white flange that holds the assembly in place, but after that I am stumped.
Number one cylinder is the first one up front on the passenger side.
Well, I own an '04 Xterra XE. I've not seen many like it. The XE is the base model and comes with no power windows, no side door molding, no stepside, and it has a manual transmission with a 4 cyl. engine. Basically power nothing and a small engine. If you want to get specific, it doesn't come with a first aid kit either. Those are the differences in the XE and SE models.
It could be freon, it could be various other things.. Have your freon checked first there may be a faulty thermister behind your glove box . it regulates the temperature of the a/c...be sure your freon is up to specs before you begin troubleshooting the system
Replace the belt every 105,000 miles or every 10 years whichever comes first. Warning: This is an interference engine.
I believe the flashers are on a separate fuse than the blinkers, that is where I would first start to look, is the fuse box
you must first adjust the rear drum brakes. then and only then can you adjust the cable for the parking brake at the base of the park brake pedal/handle. if you don't do the rear drums first, you will stretch the cable
by turning the knob behind the gear shift below the radio from 2wd to 4wd 0r 4wd low. if you are going to 4wd low stop and put vehicle in neutral first.
There is a hole back there. Get one of those mirrors on a stick so you can see what it looks like first then just feel your way in there.
1. Check and make sure that you have both power and ground going to the blower first. 2. Check the fuse. 3. Check the resister. 4. Check the controller head...................
did you try rolling the dimmer switch? ti is acommon mistake whin getting in or out of the vehicle to bump it with your knee. It is on the left side of your steering wheel and down a bit. try that first.
