Hi: Your possiblyexperiencing a very high air velocity through your coils that they were not designed for. I have seen this before ( but ) rarely in a factory designed system designed and installed as a whole system at one time. In al likely hood, you have a mix matched blower to cooling coil set up. The blower is probably squirl cage design ( which is fine ) but for some reason it is running way to fast or the just plain way to large. Questions to ask yourself: #1, Has fan speed been changed? #2, Has fan squirl cage blower been chaned? #3, When did this situation start or has it always been so? #4 Have you had a much larger blower unit installed without changing the rest of your system? #5, Is your cooling coil running much colder than designed for? This would cause more humidity to fall out of the air much faster than it was designed for. It is my opinion that your system has most likely been field modified in some manner which has caused this. Really Really Really sounds like a induced problem nature than one that would naturally occure in a factory designed system. You do know that fan motors come in many speeds ? ( Right ?), The variations in speed design from one motor to the next can be extreme to say the least (even though they look the same and use same voltage) Also the pitch of your blower blade and the depth and number can make huge differences. There is more: I will not go there unless you need and ask. Hope this helps: Jimiwane

What is an up flow furnace?

An up-flow furnace is a heating device that draws in air from near floor level in a building, heats it and then discharges the warmed air through a vent or plenum at the top of the machine. The warmed air is then fed into ductwork that distributes it throughout the building. This type of furnace is useful for installation below the area to be heated.

Upper intake manifold plenum leak/crack most likely. If its blowing out coolant then you probably have a bad head gasket.

How do you Change intake manifold gaskets on 1994 Chevy cavalier Z24?

The best thing to do is buy a Chilton's or Haynes manual. There are two gaskets associated with the intake manifold. The upper plenum and the lower plenum. A lot of times it's just the upper that is leaking. It's fairly simple to unbolt and change. The lower involves removing the upper plenum, injection system, and other components. Buy the book.
