My 2000 altima w/280k miles just had replacement water pump installed. Definitely recommend a new pump vs rebuilt. Pump is $55.00 w/ 2 hours labor @ $60./ hr. Good time to check/replace belts, repl hoses, antifreeze. I'm mechanical but bought pump at NADA and took car and pump to my mechanic. It is a down and under exercise I did not want to do. Also have 2000 Max that is putting me in the poorhouse. Altima almost as good as my last Honda.
