No, I don't believe it would. The main reason that feudalism worked is that people without means were uneducated. Most just basically knew about the place they were from, about its people, culture, and politics. They had no means to learn about the rest of the known world and how other people lived or what resources for them may exist in the world at large. This isn't true in today's world. Even the poorest, undereducated, most oppressed people in the world have managed to get their hands on today's technology, such as TV, cellphones, and internet. Uneducated or ignorant does not mean lacking intelligence or ingenuity, or even a drive to succeed. Feudalism would work today only if it could be modernized to appeal to people who knew a great deal about the world and understood their other options.
