your taking a risk of a heart attack that could result in death, not to mention the stress you put on your heart if you do not have an attack the first time but after toying with death many times this also stresses your brain tissue and causes memory loss

I do it a lot, I wouldn't say its "safe" necissarily though. I would imagine its increasing the amount of damage the amphetamine is already doing to your heart.

Plus, caffeine inhibits the same CYP isoenzyme that Adderall is metabolized by, so drinking caffeine will slow down Adderall's metabolism. This effect could possibly be offset by the diuretic effect of caffeine though - I saw somewhere that 30% of amphetamine is excreted unmetabolized. I'm really not sure on what the net effect of how thiswould balance out would be, but making your heart go even harder is what I would worry about.

When you smoke a joint of Marijuana then drink a cup of coffee:

First the weed effects slows down your heartbeat, your brain cells also work slower, you feel like everything around you is interesting and you become super lazy.

Then the cafeine effects show up, speeding up your heartbeat, putting you out of your laziness and making you feel much more energic. By the addition of these effects, you usually feel like a "reset", you are dynamic, reactive, you feel more sociable and in a general way, well rested and ready for action.

That's some sort of magic combo, weed + cafeine (coffee or energy drinks, wich contain more sugar and chemicals) is the perfect match if you work in an office. Time goes by pretty fast this way.

What athletes would benefit from using a sports drink to meet their hydration needs?

no athlete would benefit from energy drinks, but if you are talking about drinking something like Powerade or Gatorade that would be fine. It's clinically proven that if you drink some Gatorade swish it around in your mouth, then spit it out, and drink a tiny bit of water, you get the most energy. So yes in a way sports drinks do benefit athletes.

How do you test energy in drinks?

You don't. Energy drinks contains ingredients that are known to cause certain effects in humans and energy drinks make their claims based on the effects of those chemicals. If there were a way to quantify, numerically measure, the actual added "energy", most of these so-called energy drink companies would go out of business for selling a lie.
