The ignition module, Ignition coil, Pick-up coil bad coil wire.
yes it is.
Absolutely! It is what tells the stater when to crank.
Remove the positive battery cable from your 1993 Chevy Cheyenne battery. Remove the two cables from the front of the starter. Remove the three starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new starter.
If the starter is grinding and spinning over, the teeth on the flywheel may be chipped. The starter can be removed then the engine turned over slowly by hand while inspecting the teeth.

Replace starter solenoid? Could be a bad neutral safety switch
It is straight underneath the starter
you have two systems that turn over a motor it could be your battery but it sounds like the starter or something in that system like the silinoid or starter relay or it could be just a loose or damaged wire.
Defective starter solenoid. It's the key or ignition or both I speak from experience I had the EXACT problem.I checked the battery, the starter, silinoid, starter relay and nothing.Everything was still good.I took it to a ford dealer and had my key replacedand vehicle reprogramed. It worked

The starter should be located at the rear of the engine next to the flywheel on the passenger side. ~ D
Try the lower rear of the engine - try to follow the + battery cable
