Coolant level is most likely low and going up hill allows it to reach the heater core.
I would not recommend that you try. A block heater is preferred.
There would only be a rear heater core if there was a rear heater, which I don't believe was an option.
Hose going from engine to heater core may have burst. Check all your coolant hoses for leaks.
my guess would be a catalytic converter going bad. you can remove the front oxygen sensor and drive it. if the problem goes away then it is probably the catalytic converter. nth njth ///////???????????????????kldghavnivaetahdsngahe
Check the heater core, it is probably bad. It could be heater hose connections to the heater core, but I would bet on the heater core going bad.
Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Heater core restricted, plugged or airbound? Temperature control not working? Water pump not circulating coolant?
You have a bad blower resister..............
There are several things that could be going on. The most common thing that would make your car smell like gas when the heater is on would be a bad heater core.
NO. Bypass the heater core by connecting the Inlet & Outlet hoses going to the heater core together. Do not plug either hose.
would like to know where the speedometer sensors are on a 1999 villager
They are placed on the floor because heat rises. If the heater was up high, the ceiling would be nice and warm, while the walls and floor would be cold. They are placed on the floor because heat rises. You would need to pull out the heater control panel to get at the bulb holders. Some of the bulbs are micro-bulbs that are actually inside switches. Unless you are skilled at disassembling small electronics and soldering small parts, replacing these might not be practical.
