Stalling while driving may be caused by a collapsing or kinked neoprene fuel line.
A faulty alternator will cause those symptoms. You might want to get t checked out.

Try cleaning you MAF sensor, while you are there check that the ground to it is secure, fluctuations in voltage will cause the jerking you describe as the ecm does not know how much air is coming into the intake.
