Toyota 4 cyl have always came with timing chains. The v6 have timing belts
It doesn't. Timing belts need replacement but typically timing chains are expected to last the life of the engine. From what I understand that year Expedition has 2 timing chains and you should not need to change them.
From introduction through 2001 model year they had timing BELTS.Starting with the 2002 model year they were equipped with CHAINS.
You do not change timing chains!!!!!You only replace timing belts which the 2003 cr-v has.Added: Honda CR-V engines are equipped with timing CHAINS starting with the 2002 model year.
none, they were all timing belt until 06, first year for chain
The Renault Clio, year 2002, has a timing belt. I believe some have timing chains but i ain't sure which.
All gas 2.2 Liter GM engines have timing chains. Some 1980s 2.2 Liter diesels had a timing belt.
All GM OHV truck engines continue to use timing chains. The 2.2 truck engine (not ecotec) also uses a chain.
Starting with the 2002 model year CR-V's have had timing CHAINS.
as far as i know all Lexus have timing belts which require replacement every 60 or 90,000 miles depending on the year.
According to Honda's website, 2006 was the first year that all the standard Honda Civic's (CE LX DX etc) had timing CHAINS, so you do not need to change it out. The Honda SIs have always had timing chains.
