They might cause a fight, if same gender, If not the same gender, the they will (most likely) have babies, and when a female hamster has babies, you have to help the babies come out. And if you touch the hamster babies AT ALL, the mother will eat them. I don't recommend buying another hamster.
they will have to have a seasection cut her open to get the babies out
No, do not do that, it will kill the babies and distress the mother hamster. The babies will be born when they are ready. If you think there is something wrong with your hamster please take it to see an animal doctor (A Vet) to get it help.
Usually, with the more common breeds (syrian, russian dwarf, chinese dwarf, roborovski etc.) it will be about three weeks but might be ready a bit earlier, don't leave it any longer than this though as all breeds of hamster come into season very quickly and if they get the chance to breed young, they will and there could be a lot wrong wth the babies and the mother hamster will probably die or eat her babies, so males and females must be seperated. Hope this helped.
the difference between a dwrf hamster and a regular hamster is the dwarf hamster will stay the same size wbut the regular hamster will keep gtrowing---- Well normally a dwarf is a lot smaller and a lot less sturdier. A dwarf is good for a fourteen year old and a reg. one is good for a nine year old. They both make awesome pets! You can be happy with either one.
nothing should effect the pregnancy of the hamster. the babies will come out and be just fine but don't touch the babies until they have fur or the mother will kill them
The closer it gets to her having the babies she will start making a nest for the new babies and hiding food so she can stay with the babies and not have to come out.
Sadly know, once it died, no it will not come back. What are you stupid no a hamster cant come back to life after it died that it is why you replace them!
I would say and dwarf hamster any kind there cheaper and they wont chew the bars of your hamster cage they are really cute. but do not get two and try not to let them escape your hands. They are really fast runners that's why i got the teddy bear hamster because they come in cute colors and they don't bite as much and you can get more than one. =)
You probably don't see your hamster when she or he climbs. If you just added something new into your cage, your hamster will be confused because it isn't used to anything new.
You dont nessacary need a Father Hamster. You might get a Very little Pregnant Hamster From the Pet Shop and be surprised to have a small liter come in eventoualy. You probably have a winter white dwarf hamster. In the winter, their fur is white. In the warmer seasons, it is brown or gray. Lucky you -- winter whites are adorable and sweet!
