You place your GM jack under the frame rail. If you look at your jack receiver , you will notice that it has a spherical shape (a bulb like appearance). If you look up at the bottom of the vehicle frame rail, from below, you will notice 4 circular holes in the bottom of the frame. The upper left and right holes are just behind the front wheel, just as the frame levels out. The jack bulb is placed into this circular hole and then just jack the vehicle up.
