A wide drain pan to catch the fluid, a new gasket and filter (comes in a kit) and aprox 4 qts of ATF Dextron III.
replace corke with new and install dry if it is the rubber reusable just wipe off and reinstall
You will need to drop the transmission pan and replace the gasket. While you're at it, replace the filter and clean the pan.
Yes, the gasket should be changed ever time the pan comes off for changing the filter or oil.
its a very good idea
If miraculously the pan gasket remains intact you do not need to worry about changing it. However being a 91 it will most likely break or be to hard to re seal and therefore need to be replaced.
No, I wouldn't think so. I have a question, though? Why are you changing the pan gasket?
No, do you not need a gasket, don't be ignant.
You need to buy the specific gasket, its plastic not spongy like other gaskets. I guess it will run about 50 bucks. Remember to get the right gasket or else it will leak
If you are sure that it did not freeze and crack the block, Then the intake manifold gasket is leaking. That is a common problem with the vortec Chevy engines. You need to replace the gasket with a factory Chevy gasket from the dealer.
gasket or o-ring. always need one or the other
Need to know which engine and which transmission.
