Why I think the Goliad Massacre was fought is because... I think Santa Anna wanted Texas to give up so he kept sending people to fight the Texans. Why he kept sending people to fight the Texans is because he wanted them to lose so Texas would stay part of Mexico.
There were only two major problems that got in the Texans' way when they had finally gained their independence. The first reason is that Mexico refused to accept the treaty Santa Anna had signed to give Texas independence. The second reason was that Texas was technically bankrupt. An extra reason was that the Comanches and other Indian groups were threatening to attack some of the smaller Texan communities.
Total surprise. At the Battle of San Jacinto, General Santa Anna, the Mexican dictator, let his troops take a siesta because he believed that the Texans wouldn't attack until the morning. He was wrong. The Texans attacked in the middle of the Mexican troops' siesta.
I would have to say that i think it would be the attack in the movie "Soul Surfer".... People might disagree but I think that it is that attack but say what you want i guess......
Yes, Santa's reindeers are real if you believe Santa is real! Many people believe Santa is real, but if Santa is real then his reindeers are real! What would the reindeers do if Santa wasn't real, there's no bother for them then!
The lieutenant thought the rebels would attack at dawn.
You don't. That's the magic of it, if you found him, he would have to disappear, and go to another house. Think about it, don't you think you would run away if someone, who wasn't supposed to see you,but just believe you were there found you, and perhaps had a heart attack? or went and blobbed on the news that Santa was a bad man who broke into people's houses? Wouldn't that stop you from being heard or seen?
The 1st attack would totally be Splash Attack!
The Fort in San Antonio was the Alamo. The Mexicans captured it from the Texans not the Texans from the Mexicans. In one of the stupidest tactical military moves ever made, the Mexican leader, General Santa Anna, decided to use siege tactics. As the Mexicans built their siege works, the Texans used long range rifles to kill Mexican Solders. The short range Mexican Muskets, could not answer back. By the time the siege reached the fort, a large part of the Mexican army had been killed. Santa Anna would have lost far fewer solders with an all out assault.
I suppose it would carry on pretty much as it does today, it would just lose a fun story. I think it would be the parents buying the presents if it weren't Santa.
No, he isn't, but he is flattered that you would think such a beauty was related to him.
This is just a wild guess, but I'd think it would be Santa Clara (Clare of Assisi).
