According to Volvo's Schedule of Factory Maintenance Service Operations, the timing belt (cam belt) should be replaced every 105,000 miles for a 2003 Volvo S60.
Two footnotes in the service schedule document add:
"Service interval for vehicles with engine VIN Code #59 is 120,000 miles", and "S60 and V70 non-turbo automatic transmission models (VIN Code #64) sold in California, Massachusetts and Vermont are classified as SULEV+ vehicles. The Timing belt and tensioner replacement interval for these vehicles is 15 years or 150,000 miles. All other models have a replacement interval of 10 years or 105,000 miles."

The cambelt in a 2003 Volvo S60 typically needs to be changed every 80,000-100,000 miles or every 5-7 years, whichever comes first. It's important to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for timing belt replacement to prevent potential engine damage.
5yr/72000mls
every 70000 miles
Not unless it is worn out.
Need alternator belt routing on XC70 2003 Volvo

been told arox 70000 miles was told mine had been changed when i brought it at 73000 but but then went at 86000 so i guess not
M52 engine has a cam chain, no cambelt
there are no requirements for time periods on replacing machanical parts on a car it is simply when you need them. inspect regularly
Proton say 54K but gates and dayco two of the biggest producers of belts say 3years or 35,ooo miles
80000 miles
The 2.0 dCi has a chain, not a belt and it is not in the servicing schedule and shouldn't need changed. If it does it's a huge job- the engine needs to be removed to complete the job properly.
45k Ok they have a belt and chain which both need to be changed 150,000 miles or 10 years,on my 3rd connect so know a little about them..
