When is Ford planning to redesign the Ranger like it has the F-150 and Explorer Sport Trac?

I have no clue, it would be nice though, I own a 2007 Ford Ranger 2.3 5-speed 34,000 miles. It looks like the body style that Ford has used since the mid 90s only thing different is the grille, front bumper, and bigger FORD emblems on the grille on tailgate. the LF, RF fenders have RANGER on them in chrome so does the tailgate While sitting in the waiting room to see a doctor, I picked up a magazine and saw a line that caught my attention: 2009 will be the last year for Ford Ranger. I didn't get to read the article for as soon as I paged to it, I was called into the office. Don't know if it meant last year of Ranger as we know them or last year of Ranger production .
