When replacing spark plugs what is the gap in between for a 1991 535I?

The specs on NGK brand spark plugs for 1985-1993 BMW 535i lists the gap at 0.028. Hope that helps.

most likely a spark problem... check coil pack then wires and spark plugs. most people are too darn lazy to change back set of plugs, so the gap increases as the plugs wear as the gap increases more current is required to bridge the gap this causes your coil/s to run hotter, and eventually the coil fails. right on top of the motor. pull the spark plug wires out and use a 18 mm spark plug socket .and there ya go
