Gates Belt Manufacture says: Inspect at 120,000 Replace if needed. This is a non-interferance engine so if the belt breaks, there will be no engine damage. I personally would replace it at 120,000 miles or 10 years to avoid being stranded when it breaks, which it eventually will, if driven long enough.
