Advil or Tylenol and stuff like that helps. Don't have caffeine. lots of exercise a few days before its supposed to start (well you need exercise anyways so...) and i personally find that laying in the fetal position on my side works. hope this helped :)
A good way to prevent cramps is to watch your diet before you start your period. Things like greasy foods or dairy are usually big contributors to painful cramps. You can also try a heating pad on your lower stomach. I know this helps a lot of women.
Yes sometimes cramps hit you in the middle of a period, but that's the nature of the beast. You may be ovulating during that time. If you continue to experience cramps - seek a medical professional!
Some women experience severe cramps with their period. These can be alleviated by using Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs such as Advil or Alleve. Relief can also be obtained by starting birth control pills, this is probably the most effective, it generally makes the periods much lighter and stops the cramps. Some women find that aerobic exercise, running/swimming help minimise cramps, and I once read that avoiding citrus fruit for a few days before your period helps too, not sure how that works, but hey, if it works for you.
Yes, mild cramping is normal in early pregnancy. For me it felt like that little bit of cramping I would get just before my period would start, the mild cramps that let me know bigger cramps would be coming. Only in early pregnancy, bigger ones shouldn't come. Mild and slightly uncomfortable, but not excruciating and dibilitating in the way period cramps can sometimes be.
You could me aunt was that way when she had her twins.
The best way is to relax, drink tea, or put a heating pad on your lower stomach. Hope this helps!
you could have infection, you need to see a doctor ASAP, that way you will be sure if there is something wrong.
Periods can be very irregular at your age.If you are not sexually active in any way, don't worry unless you have any abdominal discomfort worse than mild cramps.
I'm not a doctor, but when I was pregnant I went through the same thing right around the same time. Those cramps are actually contractions. That's your bodies way of preparing for the birth.
It's not menstrual cramp but it can feel that way. You are ovulating and some women notice none of this and others do.
There is no way for certain some get cramps, bloating or light spotting as tip off signs before it happens but not all
personally if i have menstrual cramps then i do NOT stay at home lying on a bed all day with a hot water bottle feeling sorry for myself... what i do (and it really helps) is i exercise to keep my mind off it. i do ballet, so i would attend ballet class. When i arrive at ballet i have cramps but during class, i realise they GO AWAY!!! also if i take a walk they seem to go, but i find that dancing is the best way to get rid of the cramps... then theres the other option which is to take medication, but i never have to, because the dancing helps! hope this works for u!
