its more then just crunches, as typical as it sounds you must eat a right combination of foods and sleep. Water or certain teas help too. if you do crunches you will stregthen your muscles but in order for you to see if you must remove the fat covering over top the muscles.
It is nearly impossible to get a six pack abs from diet alone. Abdominal exercises such as crunches and sit ups help greatly with developing a six pack.
The crunches have to be the most benefitial six pack ab workout there is. The crunches work all ab areas except for the the lower abs. Diet is also required to lose the fat so the abs are visible.
I've seen people who haven't done a single crunch in their while life but have a six pack abs. It's all in the diet. Pain of not eating is better than 1000 crunches then eating pasta after.
Crunches places more stress on the abs, meaning the muscles are being used more, if you do the same number of crunches as situps then the crunches will hurt more, but do more in terms of pulling you closer to that goal of a six pack...
yes it is healthy but dont work out too much or else u will stop growing
a lot of crunches and other work outs for your abs and obliques that you can find on the internet. do them everyday, since unlike biceps, abs can be worked out every day. its impossible to get a six pack in 4 weeks, but you might get a 2 or 4 pack or just get rid off excess blubber

There are no "easy" ways to get tones six packs. It involves a combination of core specific exercises(such as planks, crunches etc..) and a disciplined low fat diet.
You cannot develop "six-pack" abs in one day.
