sounds like the choke is not working correctly
Start with a good tune up. Could be a bum spark plug or spark plug wire.
It could be a stuffed catalytic converter.
You may not have any spark, you need to check for spark with a spark tester..If you do not have spark it could be caused by your spark control modulel, bad coil ect.find out why you have no spark...Have you been having problems before with the truck turning off or stalling, prior to this? If so then i would suspect the spark control module.
You could have an ingnition control module going bad. Is it dying going down the road? If so, it more than like is the control module. If not, you could have a starter going bad, when it gets hot it won't work anymore. Good Luck!!
It depends on the truck, Could be 4 hours or 10 hours. It depends on the truck, Could be 4 hours or 10 hours.
Check for a loose ground.
Use the clutch.
It could be because of the oil level or overheating due to the radiator dis functioning check all of those and the fuel pump
could be out of gas
Maybe a vacuum line?
If you drive a Ford truck and things start to go wrong with it, like you are hearing strange noises or it is stalling on you or it just won't start, you need to get it into a mechanic as soon as possible. One problem that seems to be happening with the Ford trucks are the coil are going bad.
A truck that keeps wanting to crash into things
Could be a plugged up fuel filter.
The starter or battery could be weak. The weakness will cause the starter to turn too slowly to start the truck.
It keeps the axle centered under the truck.
Yes, you could but you would damage any electronics on the truck that were on when you jump start the vehicle. I would advise against it.
I got a 1985 Nissan Truck 4 cyl Z24 engine 4X4. Had the same problem plus my truck keeps stalling when I came to a stop sign and traffic light. My stalling problem was fixed when the intake gasket was replaced, but my truck still hesitate in lower gear and ran ok when I got it up past 40 MPH. Someone told me to replace the fuel filter and I did. Only to find out the previous owner installed the fuel filter backwards. Never the less, I changed the less than $10 fuel filter and my truck has being running great ever since.
