You need to change fluid from both the pan & torque converter {has plug} ---also add a "limited slip differential treatment" {aprx. 4 oz.} Vibration will quit usually before 25 miles. Change the Transmission Fluid to Mercon V or ATF-3 (Chrysler qualified). The vibration is caused by torque converter clutch shudder during engagement in 3rd. Another possible source of shudder is caused by synchronous bind of 3rd and 4th gears during the shift transition which can be tuned out by a valve-body modification. In any case, the proper fluid will correct the trouble. Answer Most Ford products have a problem with tranny shudder. A good transmission shutter fluid will correct the problem within 25 miles of driving.
It is probably a failing fan.
then go work again
If it shifts smothly into the gears before o/d it is not the cable.
more likely a supension or tire problem, depends on where you're feeling it vibrate.
There are quite a few things it COULD be. Could a broken belt in one of your tires. Could be a CV joint going bad. Could be a flywheel problem. Could be an alignment problem.
there could be a gear missing that would be causing the shifting problem.
Air vibrates helmet. Helmet vibrates helmet (two). Helmet vibrates air (inside helmet two).
check transmission fluid then go to transmission mechanic. problem may be in computer and be a simple fix
THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM ON THE GM TRANS WHICH IS A BROKEN 1-2 ACCUMULATOR SPRING
The 1995 Cavalier could have a stopped up transmission filter, or a vacuum solenoid problem. These would be the two most likely places to cause the problem.
If the car vibrates when the brakes are applied, it could be a sign that the brakes or rotors need to be checked or replaced. When a problem like this occurs, it is best to get it checked out as soon as possible to avoid worsening the problem.
