RAISE THE HOOD AND FIND THE TOP RADIATOR HOSE. FOLLOW IT TO THE BOTTOM. THERE YOU WILL FIND THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING.
DRAIN ABOUT THREE QUARTS OF COOLANT FROM THE RADIATOR, AND REMOVE THE HOSE AT THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND REMOVE THE TWO BOLTS SECURING IT, AND REMOVE THE HOUSING. REMOVE THE THERMOSTAT FROM THE BLOCK. CLEAN THE THE OLD GASKET AND INSTALL THE THERMOSTAT IN THE REVERSE ORDER. BE SURE TO ADD THE COOLANT AGAIN. RAISE THE HOOD AND FIND THE TOP RADIATOR HOSE. FOLLOW IT TO THE BOTTOM. THERE YOU WILL FIND THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING.
