There are 2 grease fittings on 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee suspension components, there are only 2 on the top behind both front wheels. Those are the only ones.
on this new a car the balljoints and tierod ends are probebly sealed wich means they dont need you to grease them. if not they are on the upper and lower ball joints wich are behind the tires so you will need to take the tires off for easy access to the grease fittings. there may also be 3 or 4 on the steering linkage located neer the front of the car underneth.
The solenoid, on your 1999 Ford escort, is located on the top of the starter. The solenoid has for retaining screws, to hold it in place.

Follow the line from the receiver/dryer (On the passenger side of the firewall, looks like a metal bottle with lines running into it) towards the compressor. You can't charge your year of Escort without getting the special fittings from Ford.
