When I locate a stolen trailer, I have to contact the buyer of equipment at our company to obtain where these concealed serial numbers are located on the individual styles of trailers that we have in our equipment inventory.
As an individual, if you were to attempt to obtain this information directly from the trailer manufacturer, I can pretty much guarantee that you will not be provided with the information. I have tried, and even with my security clearances, I cannot obtain the information, unless I call the company equipment buyer. Crazy, but true!
