The fantastic story about the original and unique Trollbeads started in 1976 in Denmark, when Søren Sølvsmed (Silver-smith) created the very first Trollbeads, at a time when it was fashionable to have a ball of silver on a leather thong around your neck.

The very first Trollbead was a silver bead with six different troll faces all the way around it. This bead is still in the collection. Within a short time, Søren had designed several new beads so that the customers had different beads to choose from.
