All fuses should be 8 amps (white) with the exception of circuits 9 and 10. These circuits should be 16 amps (red). On my 73 super beetle it is about 2100.Yours should be pretty close to that.

Theoretically about 2000-3000 lbs, but keep in mind the Duster 340 was not designed to be a tow vehicle.
The biggest difference is the 74 has energy absorbing bumpers that the 73 is lacking.
