I had my AC knobs break for my 95 Olds 88 Royale and never did find replacement knobs. I ended up buying another "AC Control" panel off ebay, which is the solution I'd recommend.
There is a staple on the front of the gearshift just below the knob, remove it and lift the shift knob.
you have to turn them not push them
there should be a u shaped clip in the front of the knob, almost like a staple. pry that out with a screwdriver and the knob should pull off.
On top of the switch there is a button, press down. Pull knob off.
Pull the headlight switch knob when it is in the headlight 'on' position. This turns on the fog lights.
on the front side of the handle there is a small slot. there is a metal staple in there you need to remove. Then you can pull the handle/knob straight up & off.
No. it will not fit.
You should find the 'adjustment knob'.
switch, relay or blower motor problem as a guess.
They are plastic actually. I cut them off, and smooth over, and replace. You can always stick a screw driver at the base, and pry off between the knob, and the shifter. Thanks.
you have to take the center console loose and raise it over the top of the shift knob. there you will finrd that the shift bag is attached to the shift knob by a zip tie. break the zip tie and unscrew the shift knob. that's it.
there is a large metal staple type fastener on the frt of the knob that can be pulled out with a screw driver
