Where can you find the code for the keyless entry on a 1988 Nissan Maxima?
The code is in your trunk on the pillar by the back window where the speakers are mounted there is a sticker there that has the Security code for the keyless entry. Good luck
THE MASTER CODE CANNOT BE CHANGED WITHOUT CHANGING THE KEYLESS ENTRY COMPUTER. HOWEVER, THE KEYLESS ENTRY CODES ARE LOCATED IN 3 AREAS; LOOK FOR A WHITE LABEL WITH 5 NUMBERS ON IT. 1 - ON A CREDIT CARD SIZED CARD IN THE OWNERS MANUAL. 2 - ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE TRUNK HINGE. 3 - IN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, REMOVE THE PANEL UNDER THE GLOVE BOX, ON THE DOOR SIDE…
How do you fix or disengage the alarm in a 1987 Nissan Maxima that goes off spontaneously even though you've already removed one of the anti-theft relays?
The control box is located in the trunk area, were the rear speaker are located. Just left of center is the control box for the security system. Remove the multi-wire plug, this should disarm the alarm system. You don't have to remove the anti-theft relays under the hood, you only need to disconnect the anti-theft unit in the back as instructed above. This solution also works for a 1988 Nissan Maxima.
You purchased a used 1988 MkVII the owner did not know the keyless entry code you wish to reset it but you don't know the burned in factcory code How do you change it Please help Thanks?
If your vehicle is equipped with it, it activates itself roughly thirty seconds after you lock all the doors. If any door is opened without using the key or the keyless entry, or the trunk lock cylinder is removed, the anti-theft system will respond. If you have your owners manual, you can find it in the index and read more in-depth about it there. . Kyle
