Where can you get a pet chinchilla?

You can find them at your local petshop, just look it up on their website. But sometimes the website doesn't say whether they have them in stock. I usually see them at Petsmart.

Okay, well, the best place to get a chinchilla is from a breeder. Because if you get one from a pet store, they have to give their time to lots of other animals aswell as the chinchillas, whereas from a breeder they dedicate most of their time towards the chinchillas. And they tend to last much longer from a breeder.

Wild chinchillas reside in places of Chile, particularly the Andes. However, there are many breeders in North and Central America and they're not hard to find.

i had to drive 30 min to find mine at plano pet store in plano Texas and i live in dallas

look up places online that are close to your home

but befor you make the trip be sure and call so when you get there it wont be pointless

they are at many pet stores just hard to find

but if you don't feel like driving far and there is a specific color that you want call your local pet store and ask them if they can order you 1 they should be able to

if they are nice :)
