Find where the speedo goes into the gearbox, unscrew it and slide it out. Get a 10mm spanner/socket and undo the locking bolt immediately next to it, rotate the plate that the bolt was holding down and gently tap out the whole speedo drive. You will now be left with a hole you can drive a bus through. You may need to tap it out from underneath the car. Remember to always chock and block once you have jacked the car.

The speedo hole is where you do it. Read the manual! Remove the 10mm bolt holding the speedo sending unit in the trans and there is a nice big hole for you to fill the trans.

Okay- Do not put automatic transmission fluid in a manual transmission! You need to put gear oil in a manual transmission. This is usually brown like oil and about 90 weight. Fill gearbox until the level is up to the fill hole but not flowing from the fill hole(as the fill hole is on the side of the gearbox).

remove the speedo cable from the gearbox near the fire wall will have a small bolt to the left off the cable . The oil level indicator is on the end of the speedo cable will have F and L keep putting the cable in and out till you get the right level ,for best results i use a good auto trans oil dextron 3 it makes the gear shift a lot smoother
