Fuel tank. IN THE TOP OF THE TANK UNDER THE BACK SEAT FOR A 2 DOOR AT LEAST.
The fuel filter is located under the car on the passenger side in front of the fuel tank. It is an inline fuel filter that looks like a small can. To replace it, remover the two fuel line connectors from each end and unbolt the bracket. Reverse the proceedures to install. Be sure you have the fuel flow direction going the right way. I have a 1990 Lemans, I assume the 1991 is the same.
i have a 1990 lemans and it is located under my back seat you flip up the seat bottom and there is a flap of carpet there it may be the same on yours
fuel filter stopped up or fuel pump loosing fire.
It is in the fuel tank.
The relay is located on the back side of the fuse box. You have to crawl under the driver's side steering wheel in order to see the relays. The relay in the BLUE socket is it.
Look where the fuel line goes into the carb, take the fuel line out of the carb and then the big nut where the fuel line came out of you want to take loose and the filter is behind that nut, watch carefully how it comes out as there is a spring in there.
GM vehicles do not have a fuel pump inertia switch.
It is most likely located on the top of the fuel tank (it's an electric pump). There should be an access plate inside the vehicle located on the floor board under the back seat, otherwise you will need to drop the fuel tank to get at it.
Under vehicle, center, below trunk area, near fuel tank, mounted in fuel line.
It is inside the fuel tank, you have to drop the tank, and remove the sending unit, from the tank to replace the fuel pump.
