The engine coolant reservoir is on the left-side of the engine compartment.
When the engine is COLD - you can unscrew the cap and add the proper 50/50 mix of coolant/anti-freeze and water.
Those are the barest of basics - BUT - you really need to know all the other information, including warnings, you should be familiar with.
So refer to the Owners Manual for your specific model year. There are excellent engine compartment diagrams to help with not only the coolant, but oil, Transmission Fluid, washer solvent, and much more.

remove the radiator cap or recovery tank cap depending on the year.I found on older models you fill it just about to the top of the radiator,start the vehicle let idle,turn the heat on full and let car get to operating temp.grab the upper radiator hose it should be hot to the touch this means your thermostat is now open.look inside your radiator and top off if needed.do not get to close if the systems burps it could backflow coolant through the radiator and cause severe burns
