You can change a flat tire on a Ford Taurus Wagon by first removing the lug nuts, pulling it off, and replacing with the spare tire.
You can view the 2001 Ford Explorer owners manual online at : www . motorcraft service . com ( no spaces ) Click on Owner Guides ( changing a flat tire starts on page 195 ) instructions and pictures
There are five steps on how to adjust the parking brake in a 2001 Ford Explorer. Some of the step-by-step instructions are park the vehicle on a flat surface, place the wheel blocks under both front tires, and disengage the parking brake.
In a 1999 Ford Explorer , the jack is behind a removable plastic cover in the cargo area ( on the drivers side ) The wheel lug wrench is held in place by clips on the back of the plastic cover . The 2 rod pieces that you need for lowering the spare tire and operating the jack are located under a cover panel right behind the rear seat. ( open the passenger side rear door , lay the seatback flat , and lift the cover panel . You will see the 2 sections held in place by clips )
You have a flat battery! Check that your batter terminals are connected
