My 1936 Business Coupe doesn't have an oil filter. They may have been an option or appeared on some of the higher series cars, I don't know.
Usually this is done when oil filter is removed if not you have to go through can bus
go in front of car...get under on your back and look up to the left of oil filter
go in front of car...get under on your back and look up to the left of oil filter
No because oil filter i meant for oil to go on the filter air filter does not need oil
Any place that sells oil filters will have a book you can look it up in. With most books you would go to the Buick section (alphabetically) then go the the year (in reverse numerical order) then find the model (alphabetically) then the engine size, then look in the column for the brand you want, and that will give you the filter's model number. This filters will be on the shelf in alphabetic/numeric order.
Oil filter mounting bracket, or oil filter base.
Yes. Oil can pass through filter paper sucsessfully.
Generally speaking, the transmission filter change will go about 60 dollars give or take some. The oil change will be about 30 dollars, give or take some. I'd expect to pay close to 100 dollars for both or about that area.
ON THE OIL FILTER HOUSING
Yes, as long as the filter fits and you add the extra oil for the extra capacity of the larger filter.
I would go with 10w40.
