Most all thermostats are located in the housing where the top radiator hose and the top front of the engine come together.
the thermostat is right under your throttle body and it is difficult to get to
When your looking at the engine it will be on the right hand side of the engine block. you will see a big black hose running in to it. if i remember correctly it is held on by two bolts. hope this helps you out.
remove the spark plug cover. and the valve cover to reach it its right under the cam pulley
2000 Pontiac grand am se keeps over heating I changed the water pump, the thermostat, radiator cap, head, and it is still over heating. make sure thermostat is going the right way , spring gose to the motor
it helps if there is a year? but its on the right side of the engine if you follow the big black hose from the radiator to the engine its right there by the engine inside the hose! that is for a 99 to 03
IF ITS A QUAD 4 THE HOUSING IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE VALVE COVER BY THE POWER STEERING BELT 2 BOLTS.
Check on the engine block or intake manifold of your motor. Most engines are cast with that information right on it.
it should be right beside the thermostat its a 2 wire sensor usually with a blue insert on it
on the top, driver side of the engine. find the hose coming off the radiator and follow it to the engine. it is right where the hose connects.
The Pontiac G6 block heater is located on the right hand side of the engine. The block heater can be located by following the block heater cord.
Follow the large hose on the top right of the radiator back under the plastic engine cover. Thermostat is inside the metal cover at the end of the hose. Remove cover with 10mm socket.
it's under the throttle body ,(air intake) on right side(back of the motor)pully and belts is on the leftside(front of motor)1999 grand am 3.4 sfi.
