I believe there are componant speakers in the front doors including a 6.5 and a tweeter in each door. rear doors have 6.5 in each , theres a subwoofer in the rear left cargo area possibly a 6.0 and theres two 3.s on the very rear side pillars to the tailgate.
At the rear of the receiver there is a single RCA jack (phono socket) that is marked "audio out" and "sub-woofer". This is a mono feed that can be connected to a powered sub bass unit. It will not drive an un-powered bass speaker that does not have an internal amplifier. If the bass speaker is not powered, the audio out from the receiver can be taken to a single channel of another amplifier and the bass speaker then connected to the speaker output of the amplifier.
Left Front, Center, Right Front, Right Rear, Left Rear, Center Rear on some units and the Sub- woofer. Most sub-woofers have their own built in amplifier and should be connected to the Sub Output connector on the Home Theater unit.
A Punch HX2 sub woofer's peak power is 1000 watts.
A 2-way speaker's crossover splits the frequency band into two ranges: bass frequencies go to the woofer, and treble frequencies go to the tweeter. In a 3-way system, the frequency band is divided into three ranges. The middle frequencies are sent to a third driver commonly referred to as the midrange.
You have to use the high inputs on sub. To do this run parallel a set of wires (both channel A outputs) either splice directly from the amp or form back of main front speakers. Unfortunately the sub won't be operating at full capacity due to the fact is will only amplify the low frequencies sent to the main channels not the LFE .1 channel.
a speaker is a device for sending out sound. a woofer is a speaker designed for low bass sound a tweeter is a speaker designed for high treble sound
No a woofer is more for Bass notes tweeters are for high notes
A Sub Woofer is a type of speaker, but the main difference between normal speakers and a sub woofer is in the range of sound it produces. A sub woofer produces the lower pitches that other speakers can't clearly put out.
Car subs, or subwoofers, is a woofer. A woofer is a speaker dedicated to bass sound only. Car subs would be subwoofers used in cars and not for use in the home.
Any electronics repair shop should be able to provide you with a 12 inch woofer. The speaker is rated at only 50 watts (100 w peak ), so you won't need a super power handling driver.
Each door contains 2 speakers inside of a plastic "speaker pod." The larger "woofer" is a 5 1/4" speaker, and the "tweeter" mounted above the woofer measures 1 1/4" in diameter.

A sub woofer speaker is not a current generating device.
It's a CROSSOVER, they are almost always built into the speaker.
you have to the base cover off first. the speaker it self is screwed in to the sub woofer box. it will take about 30 minutes to take it apart it
