Right up front of the engine located above the temperature sensor , easy access, if not installed yet a 1 inch treaded plug is placed, need a ratchet to remove.
The block heater, on your 2001 Honda Civic, can be found on the front of the engine block. The engine block heater cord is mounted just below the front grill.
where is block heater cord for 2008 ford escape
2008 Tahoe block heater cords location?
If you cann't see the wire then you probably don't have a block heater or the electric cord was removed. Check on the block to see if you find the heater itself. If you don't find it then you don't have a block heater!
Should be on the lower rear of the block, near the dipstick.
block heater is on the rear left side of the engine, just beside the il filter the model is a screw in type
The old Honda Civics didn't come with the block heater. It's an option or aftermarket...If your car is equipped with a block heater, it should be located in front or at the side of the radiator......
There is no glow plug on any civic that's diesel motors, not honda's. Question is about block heater, not glow plugs. Most Civic do not come with block heaters installed unless dealer or previous owner has installed it. On the 2000 Civic SI block heater is installed on the coolant drain plug on the engine block. This is located about 4" left of the oil dip stick. Might not be able to see with exhaust manifold. If you can see it, check to see if a wire is coming out and trace the wire to locate the plug. If not, and only see the bolt head, you do not have block heater installed.
