fuel pressure system starts in the gas tank with the fuel pump. Then runs a gas line forward to the fuel filter almost underneath the battery .It then goes up and to the fuel rail which in turn connects to the injectors .The fuel return line comes off the fuel rail regulated by the fuel regulator and goes back to the fuel tank completeing the circuit. The actual fuel pressure is around 120 psi on most models , some models a little less like 60 psi.Anyway there is a pressure bleed off valve that you use to release the fuel pressure before servicing the system.Hope this helps.
