In the fuel tank
I paid 150 for the fuel pump and 250 for the service. Dont go cheap if you can buy the part and get warranty service that's the best way. If they don't install it right you can be in a worse position than you started and be out your money.
Look either in trunk on driver's side or in the front kick panels
Leaking? Sounds like bearing "growl" Not keeping engine temp at acceptable level
Could be the fuel pump. My Ford did the same thing...it was awful! I got a new fuel pump...and all is well. Also try a fuel injector cleaner from the gas station...temp. fix only
its in the injestor pump
Faulty fuel pump. Incorrect fuel pump pressure. Dirty fuel filter. Faulty engine coolant temp sensor.
fuel gauge stays on full and the tempreture does not move from cold on ford explorer 1998
197 degrees Fahrenheit , according to fordparts.com
Check for pressure in the fuel tank by opening the gas cap immediately after the car stops running. There should be pressure in the fuel system. The fuel pump is a Walbro Corporation fully submersible pump. However, it sounds like you've checked into the fuel supply... I would followup by checking for ignition? Ask a local mechanic experienced with Ford automobiles for any key possibilities.
Please visit the dealer to get these problems fixed.
its on the fuel rail, it actually takes temperature of the rail not fuel.
I had those symptoms and finally had the dealer look at it. the problem was with my cooling system and temp sensor. the car was running hotter than the temp sensor was indicating and the cooling system was not working properly.
