My Pontiac Grand Am is stalling after it gets warm - about 15 to 20 minutes. I can let it set for 30 minutes and it will start back up until it gets hot again. I have trouble shot everything with the exception of the brain box and the IAC valve. Where is the IAC valve located? What do I need to do to change it?
if this is what your car is doing, have you checked your ignition module. i had a grand prix that did the same thing. it would run for 5 to 10 miles then just die for 30 minutes till it cooled. something about how when it got hot it expanded and lost contact with the coil packs and when it cooled it contracted and you would get a good spark on the coil packs. try that and see what happens.
