Look at the rear or side of the oil pan

Follow the plug wires back to the distributor cap. On my 93 DX it is on the drivers side of the engine block underneath the air intake assembly.
None. You have to remove the pan.

10W 30, 5W30 in >32 degree constant weather (winter up north). On a car that old, I'd go with something slightly heavier unless you've had your engine rebuilt recently - 10W40 would be smarter IMO

Exactly the weight Mazda recommends which is SAE 10w30. Any major brand will be fine.

Replacement of the heater core on a 1993 Mazda Protege is going to first require the removal of the entire dashboard. Once that is removed then the heater control box will need to be removed and disassembled in order to get access to the heater core inside.
a manual will help with diagnosis and repair, and a shop manual should be available at the local library in the reference section for FREE, make copies of the right pages, good luck...:)
Drain plug is located on the oil pan. Never heard of a oil leak pin.
I am trying to find drain plug on 93 flh.
