Where is tankbund?

There might be few places around the world with the name tankbund. but in India, In hyderabad, Andhra pradesh there is a wall constructed along the side of Hussain sagar lake. it is a huge contruction with road laid on it.

It is a big weekend spot for the localities of hyderabad and surrounding places. There is a statue of Lord Buddha erected in the middle of the lake known as "Buddha Purnima". there is a boat facility arranged by the tourism department of the state to go near the statue.

This is worth seeing even on a regular day. the evening view is awesome with lights of the tall buildings in the city on one side. there are many places like the Lumbini Park, NTR garden, IMAX theatre and necklace road situated around the tank bund in hyderabad, AP.
