The coolant temp sensor for the gauge is located near the front passenger side of the engine near the thermostat. It will be pointing slightly down and to the front of the truck. Will have a single yellow wire attached.
The coolant temperature sensor for the ECU is bolted into the intake manifold in front of the carb. It will have a green 2 pin molded body.
A 3rd sensor is located in the bottom of the radiator, this turns on the Carburetor PTC heater when the coolant temperature is below 60 deg F.

There are none...i have an 87, short cab and there are no drain holes.
i have an 87 b2000, i have no power steering pump, u might need to see if u have one or if the fluid is low
Yes, this is as easy a swap as you'll ever do. It's the same engine almost; same cylinder head, same carburetor, same starter, the B2200 uses an F2 which is a slightly modified FE which is what you will find in the last few years B2000, I think 84-87.
check crank angle sensor
Check your starter, my 87 b2000 was doing that. when i hit the brakes, turn signals, etc the CD player would cut off and back on. it was the starter!
where is the EGR valve on a 1989 mazda b2200
See the attached link below for a color coded diagram that should get you in the ball-park.
FOUND PROBLEM it was the temp sensor in the very back on the engine. You have to have front and rear temp sensor for the efi to work properly, and give the right amount gas, If you have an added temp gauge like i did the sensor will not tell the computer that the car is warm or cold so it just chokes it and the mixter was almost all gas causing it not to run just flood.
On an '87 it screws into the block right beside the thermostat and apparently requires a special Socket (Alltrade 648830 Nissan Coolant Temp. Sensor Socket)

I am not famailar with your model year but, have owned my 87 since new.The coolant temperature sender should be at the thermostat housing. It should have single wire connector going to it that should just slip on or clip on.This is pretty common and even on another car I own a 85 the sender is at the thermostat housing. It should be at this location and go online to autozone or advance auto parts enter your rides info and look up the water temp sender it should show a picture of what it looks like for reference and you will need to buy it anyway.
